Many alumni remember large green volumes that were once kept on the 3d floor of the former library; these contained typewritten transcripts from the Nuremberg medical doctors' trials. Those volumes are now safely stored in the Law School Archives in our library.

The transcript volumes belonged to Dean Harold L. Sebring, whose illustrious career included presiding over the Medical Case for the Nuremberg Military Tribunal. Some items from the trial, as well as other memorabilia from Dean Sebring, can be seen in the Harold L. Sebring Collection of our Digital Archives.
